Radial Random 324 layer Damascus with stainless guard and an utterly flawless piece of Ironwood.
Usually I find some small voids or pinholes or something in Ironwood, but this piece was just absolutely pristine! I loved it.

Sheath by Scott Teaschner.

When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

Man I wish I could make it to the Blade show to see some of these in person.  Excellent work.

Steve Nuckels

Karl, thanks for sharing those beauties for us to admire before the Blade Show!

Thanks,

Very Nice! Karl sent me the tool to take it down. Very tight and craftmanship unbeleaveable.
Don't ever try to be like any body else and don't ever be affraid to take risks. Waylon Jennings

That's a good lookin'knife, Karl.

Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. TGMM ♥

I never tire from looking at such fine work.

Wampus

Man, that just has all kind of flow and balance from the overall shape to the way the lines of the handle work with the guard and blade, before you even get into how the pattern of the wood works with the steel pattern.  Everything just draws the eyes in and keeps them moving all over.  Bet that one doesn't last long on the table.
