Got a 108 lb kohlswa anvil from Sweden, I know it's no Peter wright, or haybudden, but the ring sounds good.
If you have one or know anything about them please let me know. Big thanks to my dad which had given it to my brother and my brother traded it to me

Swedish anvils are supposed to be quite good.  I have one that Mark Aspery picked out for me by just looking over a pile of different anvils last fall...Jeff

It should be good, how is the face on it? Is it a farriers anvil? How old is it? What size hardie hole? What kind of markings? How old do you think it is? Got any pictures?

DANA HOLMAN

Bryan
on one side it has kohlswa, and the other side you can barely see108 lb. Above that it says made on Sweden . Hardy hole is 7/8, Top is 3 3/4 x 13 1/2, 10" tall OAL is 221/4"

Those are VERY good anvils,  or at least the ones I have seen are.

DANA HOLMAN

Thanks Lamey the old one is like hitting a stump and this one almost makes your ears hurt. It's got to better
