Congrats to Doug on his achievement. I couldn't afford his knives before and I certainly can't now. But that is OK. He is a good guy who brings a lot to "Tradgang". We can all benefit from associating with folks like him.      :clapper:

Glad I was there to witness the whole thing.
Trad Gang just got kicked up another notch!
When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

Thanks a bunch guys, it was a real honor to get that "you passed" when I walked into that test room. Now I'll do my best to uphold the standard that guys like Lin, Karl, Brad and others have set.

Quite an accomplishment! Congrats!

Doug,

I've worked with Journeymen skilled tradesmen all my life (Dad is a tool & die maker).  Those things don't come easy!  Congratulations!

 :notworthy:

Now, will this change how you make knives in any way, or does it just qualify what you have been doing?

Lin Rhea

I forgot to mention that the congratulations go to Miss Karen too. I saw that she is very supportive and that is what it takes for you to accomplish your goals. It was very enjoyable to see. Lin

Likewise Ron.

I hope it wont change what I'm doing Steve other than to push me to keep learning and improve my work as I work toward the next goal. Hard to think about right now but maybe someday I'll go for the Mastersmith rating like Lin has already accomplished.

Lin you are so right, I've been very blessed having Karen's support all these years as I can tell you have also. It is great seeing your lovely with, (Kay right) there supporting you at the shows.

Thanks agian guys, I really appreciate it.
