I know that guy behind you, too, I just can't think of his name.
I'm glad you guys are getting these pics posted up.
And I also know that there are a bunch of "hold outs"!
Steve, that is a VERY impressive Performance Knife.
Mine returned to under 20 degrees of straight, but I think yours has mine beat!
Very nice.
When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

Here's a picture of me a few years ago (the dork on the right in the tradgang shirt) and  my friend J.Holt who heat treats my blades for me. I celebrte my 50th birthday in June and plan to climb a 14er.

I carried a knife that Frank-sticshooter gave me on this trip. It is from his early knife making days. Has special meaning to me.

Steve you got me thinking ,heres my latest bend.
I made a pair of knives getting ready to test before long(for real)  this is the first one.We took it a little extra to make sure the other would pass the test.It cut some rope and about 4 boards  and shaved so we decided to see if it would bend.LOL
The guy watching or comanding is J.S. Ron Duncan he helps me alot!!!!

I talked to Bill a few days ago and I don't think he's gonna make it this year.
Maybe he and I will both be up in 2011.
You had some good back-up there and he's a great guy to spend the day with.
Tons of fun.
