Here's my favorites.  I like the looks of the spike, but figured I wouldn't use it......
The one on the right is Damascus.  Just can't tell with my UNprofessional pics.

Mint Hill Mule

I'll 2 nd HB Forge. Have one and it's a great throwing hawk, very reasonable.

Since a few folks have asked to see some of my work I am posting a few here.  Give them a look and feel free to pm me if have any questions.

The first picture is of a spike hawk with a french grey finish and a natural finish extra fancy curly maple handle.

The second photo is of three hammer poll hawks with an oil finish that are ready for handles.  The first hawk was made for a customer who wanted rustic finish hawks for him and a buddy.  The bottom hawk was made for Brock Wardle from Bull Mountain Archery.

The third photo is of another spike hawk that was made for a soldier that is presently in Afghanistan. He loves the hawk and carries it in a strap on his IBAS.

joekeith.

I love the look of the Falchion in the middle of the picture in your post.  That is a nice hawk head, well matched to the period.
