There is an anvil for sale nearby (estate auction).  I couldn't see any numbers or names.  It had a pic of an eagle on the side.  It's about 18-20inches long.  I don't know the weight.  I'd guess at least 60 or 70 lbs. What should it go for?  I realize I'm not providing much info.  I'll try to get a pic tonight.  Larry

Years ago they used to go for $3.00-$4.00 a pound in antique shops. That being said I paid $50.00 for a 133 pounder at a yard sale. I guess it boils down to is it what you want and is the price what you want to pay. Good luck.

I don't know about the worth!  But, good luck getting it!

Thanks for the responses.  Wampus, that's it. I'll go back today & try to get a pic. I'll check under the heel to see if there's a weight.  It was in a closed shed yesterday evening. Larry
