It's always hard to come home from a wonderful adventure like Pig Gig with your Trad Gang Brothers.  The forge & hammer seem to help ease my way back into civilization.

These brothers are 10 1/2 inches AOL out of 5160.  Top blade is flat ground and as finished as I seem to get.  Bottom is hollow ground with just the blade grind finished.  Handles will come later, maybe some antler that I picked up in Texas.  Can't really say it's good to be home...but the Anvil helps Cut the Blues...Doc

Curt,
My two little ones are 29 & 31 years old.  They make me smile too...especially with my daughter in an expectant way

Doug was trying to persuade me to show up at Shawn's  :)   Pending what has happened at the clinic this past week, I might head over with Tom Phillips on Saturday...Grandpa-to-be Doc

Nice blades Doc!!How about some Mammoth tooth on the top one???

Even though I really like nice finished knives, I just seem to get caught up in pounding hot steel.  That's more fun for me to keep changing the shapes and styles of blades.  Guess that's why I like my 10 minute paracord handles  :D  Doc
