Are survival knives like Tom Brown's Tracker knives ok here?  Seems like they would be, but I don't wanna go where I shouldn't.
If they are ok, have any of ya's made ones of your own design?

seems like they should be okay, always gotta be prepared when hunting right?

Survival knife is a funny label because in survival school we learned that having "any" knife in a survival situation is paramount.  No knife, no life - or at least a much tougher struggle.  As far as large, sturdy, multi task type knives?  Probably would like that over a small folder when trying to survive but just make sure you always carry a knife(or two or three) when getting off the beaten path.

As far as posting pics and discusssing them - I would think it to be ok here.  Cannot imagine why not but it is always best to ask.

Go back and look at the bowie thread and see some gems for survival.
