I'm not even good enough to be called a novice...but I'll throw my name in the mix also.
Hopefully I'll be able to make 2 things that might resemble a sharpened pointy thing!  :)

I have not finished my new shop yet, but things are comeing along.  I should have 220 wired up  in a couple of weeks.  So I quess I will sign up for two knifes.  This will push me to get the shop together faster..

I am in for two...after seeing the quality I got for what I gave last year and since I have a bunch of home improvement projects coming up I decided to give a couple of Helle blades and try to make up a couple of cool sheaths. Here are the knives (not done yet but couldn't stand not to post them.)

I sent Jeremy an e-mail but thought I'd post here as well.  Put me down for one knife in the swap.  I have a skinner I made with a birdseye maple handle and sheath I made for it.  The blade is an "altered" green river blank.

I just recently started forging my own steel, so with any luck I'll be swapping one of those next year!

OK guys, I've gotten a lot of emails from people saying "I'm in"   Please wait until after you've finished at least one knife before emailing me.  That way I don't have to track you down later to confirm.  I'll try to get a list of finished knives up this weekend, but things may be delayed some while I mess around with the computer and transfer data.  I'm not ignoring anyone's emails, just responding to all of them would take longer than I have on weeknights  :)

The deadline for this year will be May 30th. That'll give everyone a good couple of months to get everything they may need together and find the time - I know I need it!

Put me in for one. I know you guys haven't seen my work yet, that'll change once I am sure I'm not breaking any rules. I'm assuming this is similar to a KITH (knife in the hat). I'm still familiarizing myself with this layout, so be patient please.

Hey all, do we show pics of the finished knives here before the swap, or do we wait for the proud new owners to post them?
Lawren

Jeremy

Lawren, you can do either, but I know I'm not alone in saying "I want to see the pics!"  :D

Man there has been a flury of awesome blades posted lately. I think this is gonna shape up to be one of the best knife swaps yet.
