Hi everyone,  I finished this knife this afternoon.  It was way to windy to go deer hunting here in GA.  Blade is forged from O1 with nitre blued fittings.  Handle is from the unlucky walrus,  Oosic!  I hope you like it.

Brad,
Very nice. Can you tell us what you used to fill the pores in the handle material with?

Hi Guys,  As for the pores ther's not that many <5,  the photos look like mor but it's very smooth.  The few I had were filled with the CA and accelerator for drying it.

Some of the native american jewelry makers use super glue. One also mentioned it helps prevent cracks in the ivory ??? bd

Thanks Brad. From what I've seen of oosic, it's usually pourous and filling these is a matter of routine. I have never used it though and have to ask. Again, very nice. Lin

That blade looks awesome!!!!What is the lenght of the blade Brad???

Brad Singley

Hi Rooster, I think the blade length worked out to about 7.5 to 7.75 inches long.  I should know but not sure.  Here at the firestation today so no way to measure it.  Sorry
