Hello,

I am looking for a finished blade supplier. I have made some blades from saw blades, but I am wanting to get some finished sharpened blades.

I am hoping yall can point me in the direction of some good inexpensive blades. I know of several suppliers, but I dont know anything of the finished blades they sell. I will also need sheaths for these blades. So if I can get them at the same location that would be perfect.

Thanks
Tommy

Tommy,
You probsbly won't find a better finished blade than the Helle blades carried by Dryad, a sponsor here. You also may not find finished blades and sheaths at the same dealer.
Good luck.

Helle blades through dryad. Its a great blade

You really dont want finished, SHARPENED blades, unless you plan to wear chain mail gloves while building your knives.

Sharpening needs to take place after you have completed all other steps.

What you might look for is ready to use blades, not sharpened. I think Jantz Supply, or Texas Knife Supply, or  www.knifekits.com  would be great choices for someone looking to take that first step.

Lots of first timers use Helle blades. just be darn sure to tape the blade real good with cardboard before you start working on them.<><

Jantz, Sheffield, Texas Knife Supply, Dryad, Ragweed Forge and the old e bay! Get them a lot of places.
