All of your knives are very nice, especially the wood.
What is that background?

Nice!

Skullie, have you ever tried staining those woods dark...to see how the chatoyance shows through it?

I have a piece of curly with some real neat waves of bright running through it..think I'm gonna sacrifice it to experiment ...I tend to like the darker woods for handles so if that works, I think I can get the nice figuring of some of the lighter woods to work with my tastes and have another source of wood to draw on!

Ray,
Try Majestic Maple Stain. It's bottled by
R W Wilson of West Virginia. The same stain will get it light to dark with a little heat from a  hair dryer. With heat, it reacts to the sugar in Maple wood. It only works on Maple. The address is on my bottle. I hope it's still available. It's good stuff and not at all expensive. Lin

Prattville, Alabama & Prattsville, Ark?? two very talented and prolific knifemakers.  If it was Springfield, it wouldn't be as much of a coincidence-- great knives, skullworks--and as Dan said, very neat wood. Larry
