Way to go T-Bone!!! Great story and an awesome buck. I played college football too and remember how tough it was not being able to get out and hunt. It is funny, I get lots of calls from my football playing buddies wanting me to come back and go to games but I always tell them I'm not going to go to any football game when I can be out hunting. If they would play in the spring I would go, after I killed my turkey that is!
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

Sorry about the picture you guys, I thought it was at 600 pixels. If this doesn't work could somebody re-post it? I'm really sorry I don't know much about computers...

Thanks for all the great comments you guys! It was awesome sharing my story with you, it never ceases to amaze me what a great bunch of arrow flingers are on this site. Ethical, good natured, and caring, that's what you guys are all about, oh and shooting bows of course!  :)  Thanks again guys!

I would sometimes go out in the mornings of home games and look at scouting report while waiting for deer.  I know what your talking about having trouble to find time to get out. I played for four years and ran home during hunting season every chance I got. Great buck and great story congratulations and good luck with F-Ball stay healthy.
