The Joan Leonard Memorial Bunny Hunt 2008 (FINAL THANKYOU!!)

It's no fun being the straight guy.  :(   But that's O.K. I guess... if it gets a laugh or two. I'm not THAT short. Got good use outa the kids 6X size camo PJs Kingstaken gave me last bunny hunt. My wife says she loves a man in uniform.  :rolleyes:  So it works for me.

Then you have 22" draw kids arrows... Yard sale specials kinda... When I take three inches and the suction cups off. They work for me.  

Last year the snow was sooooo deep I couldn't walk in it. Joe Skipp gave me a ride in his back quiver. I did the ickie-ickie with his girl arrows.  :D  That was a good work out for me.

When the (men) said, "Hey little guy! Go get us some ice cubes!" I did just that. Put some yellow snow on 'em I did. That was Great for me!

So Killy.... Worry 'bout nothin'....We are all friends here. You are THE honored guest. I am only the straight guy. That's good for me.

Guys, tell Killy about my brush pants, i wear out a pair in a season and half and I buy ones that would last most people 15 years. Check your local DICKS, they have their heavy duty brush gaurd pants on sale for $15, usually $40. I bought two pair, so I hope they last me a couple years. It is getting closer and closer!! Killy, with the 666 post, uh-ohh!! I am letting the spirit get to me tonight, if ya know what I mean!! Everyone keeps on poor Mikey about his height, but I like him just like he is, makes him easier to toss into a multi-flora rose to flush out them bunnies!!     I am gonna get out of work a tad early tomorrow and hunt for na hour and than off to work on Dad's place, soon to be Cindy's and mine!! Next years hunt will be hosted at our new home!!! We are also gonna hunt the Bee-Hive stand valley, we did not hunt it last year but the year before. I had a memorable miss with RU on that push. I killed a big 8pt. from this area in 97' and it is loaded with bunnies!! OOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Shawn

I swear last year I seen a rabbit motioning to Mikey and pointing to his burrow. I guess he was trying to tell him to hurry and crawl in before they arrow ya.        

This year Mikey has to wear full blown blaze orange from head to toe. Last year 3 standers drew on him....he had too much brown on.   :eek:  

I'm heading out Sunday for some bunny chasing to get some practice in. Just hope the weather cooperates....
