Hey Steadman,
I've been watching this quietly all through the whole ordeal.  I can't tell you how exciting it is to see your success.  Congrats on a beautiful bear.

Great Job, Steadman!!Congratulations!!  I've followed your thread from the start and it has been a really great read.  Thanks so much for sharing.  Doing all the work: scouting, hauling bait, setting up, dealing with the crap, and sticking with the trail, this has to be a tremendous feeling and accomplishment.

To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

What a classic story!  From start to finish, this is one of the best threads I can remember around here.  From highs to lows, and back to the ultimate finish.  Wow!  :clapper:    :clapper:    :clapper:
