That is awesome...I'm going to hopefully have the same success this weekend since Michigan has an early doe season, finally get to hunt deer in September.  The hunt was designed to be a gun season but allows bow hunters to go but we have to have the regulation orange.

YAHOO!!!!!!!! Way to go my brother. There is nothing like your first, she will always hold a special place. Make sure you save some momentos....the hide, a leg bone that can later be turned into a knife handle, deer feet for bow rack. She deserves to stay around for awhile.

That's a trophy in any trad hunters book. And a heart shot at that!
