Ok boys(and Ladies) here goes! I went to ky hunting thursday for the first time this year. I had been in the stand about 10 min when a lil basket rack buck came through. He got in to about 20 yards at on point but i never even tried to get a shot at him. bout an hour later this buck came in and i didn't see him till he was about 35 yards out. I stood up and tried to get my bow and get ready for a shot. The buck stood quartering toward me a 20 yards for what seemed like forever. All of a sudden he took off like someone slapped him on the butt! He ran by as i bleated for all i was worth trying to stop him. He slammed on the brakes at about 15 yards with his head behind a tree!  :D  I came to full draw and shot through a small hole and hit him. When he ran off he broke the arrow off. I waited awhile and climbed down to inspect the arrow. The buck never bled for almost a hundred yards then i started finding some small drops of blood which had me concerned. after finding blood for about 50 yards it just quit, so i decided to back out and give him awhile. I went back the next morning and found that i had walked within 10 feet of him the night before. Where i lost the trail he had did a 180 and went the opposite way.

I shot him with a Javaman all wood duoflex 54#@28" 600gr chundoo arrow with WW head. And yes Mr Easter it was in Fleming county KY.  :D

Now for the rest of the story.... When i got home from hunting i was talking to my wife and drew the bow back in the living room. when i went to let down i hear the TICK!  :scared:  Now the bow will be put in a place of honor,  Mickey's house!
