Nice pic Pat, and that cheetah is prettier in person than that pic can even portray.  And real men shoot pink fletchings !!!

Thanks for the kind words, Gigantic Hands.    :goldtooth:

I am liking the pink quite a bit!

Wow, way down the second page....

So, Sagittarius has been on my shopping list for awhile after listening to y'all go on and on about it.  Tough to find for something that a guy can afford to spend.  I did find a copy from the Legends of the Longbow series for $100 that is on its way right now.  I'm hoping that it is no different than the original printing of the book with the elephant on the front when it comes to content.  Those seem to start at $350 and go up.  Amazon has one for almost $700 right now as a used book!  I'm pretty happy, but found another one from the Lengends set on an auction site for $75 and no bids if someone else is interested.  Think there might be a day left.

How many of y'all have a significant number of the Legends series?  Seems pretty cool.  How much did they originally sell for, anyone know?

We have another convert. My business partner just got in a 70" Halfbreed today. We'll have to shoot this weekend.

Well the Jerry hill stalker I have been waiting on to show up will not be with me. The seller mailed it to another person during the mix up and the other buyer d not retiring any emails to set it straight. So it is a sad day. I was looking forward to adding it to my shooters. Let's take a moment of silence for a lost bow:(

Well, that's a bunch of bull crap! I hate to hear that Brian.

akbowbender

Bummer! Hopefully the guy comes to his senses and ships it back for the bow he actually bought.

The sellers were very apologetic and sorry for the mix up, and I know things happen so Im not too mad at them as I know human error exists. But the guy who is running with my bow is what aggravates me. I use been looking for the green camo actionwood Jerry Hill for a while now and then this!!!

Brian how does the Misty dawn shoot compared to the Vixen? I believe James names his bows after his dogs.

Brianlocal3

Mike,
It shoots very very similar. I do not notice any loss of performance. Now I do prefer the Vixen over the Misty Dawn but that is just me. I prefer the Feel of draw and release of a reflexed over a string follow bow.

Brian,

You ahve my sympathy.  It is too bad you have to deal with such a scoundrel ( decorum prevents me using the vernacular I prefer ).

I pray the situation will resolve itself.

Good luck man.

Bob.

Pretty lousy Brian. I'll keep an eye out for one for you while I'm searching around for bows.
( I did just get an extra week of vacation this year,so if you want to take a couple days off,we can try to track him down,=  :knothead:    :deadhorse:    ;)    :D  )

Sitting at the computer this morning and the sun came through the window on my bows.Lit them up so all the riser woods really looked great.
Took a couple cell phone pics, not as good as in person, but still look pretty good.

Nick those pics are amazing!!! And thanks for the assistance. But I won't be shootimg for a while now, I just got out of the ER. I had a 700lb controller swing up as we were hoisting today smashing my left hand against the concrete wall and did some good damage, dislocated middle and index finger and split my whole milled finger like an overlooked bratwurst!!! Te new year is starting off good!!
