Went for a little stumpin' walk this morning on some land I hunt.Looked for sheds and turkey sign. No sheds, but found a whole hill side roto tilled by turkeys. Saw one flock of about 30,with some real nice toms in it.

I took "BamYew" and some arrows I just traded for. With a Rick ****** Skinny string,Hush puppies and heavy ash arrows all you here is a quiet little thump.
Gotta love a good piece of ash! I shot for about 2 hours and only broke 2 arrows.Would have had a pocket full of broke off points if I was shooting cedar.

Sheep horn tips looked cool in the sun

Yep,Had a good time Brian.Yes they can.I shot them years ago,but it was a chore keeping them straigh.I'll see how these do. The arrows are a little weak for that setup. They should be pretty close when I cut them to my length. Thanks again.
How'd the GT's work for you?

Brianlocal3

The GTs have went to another tradganger who is not in the position that I am.  He can use them as he is having an arrow shortage at the moment.  Thank you Nick and they are being put to good use.

Sorry guys been gone while, work.  I had a great year in illinois with a bow made by Nate.  Took 3 deer, one buck and one turkey.  Actually shot about 9 squirrels.

Todd-

You had a great year! I've been out a few time but I have got anything since last December. I'm hoping things get better on the Hill Hog Hunt.

Wow, I remember when Bear Archery new what a bow was suppose to look like. Sorry bud, but that bow is butt ugly.

And  I'm not sure how long your post will last since you choose to use it to peddle this bow.

Gentleman I apologize about that.  I did not mean in any way shape or form to break any rules or boundaries.  There are a lot of people here that can vouch for me and my integrity.  Fellow Trad Gang members have wanted to see pics since this is not a common bow and when I had the chance to post them I did.

I bought this bow for one reason and one reason only. To try it out, I knew from the get go I probably would not keep it and I was not meaning to "peddle" it here, but post pics and my opinion of it.

Please accept my sincere apology.

Lets see if this works.  Well there is a link to a article by Hill on this site I just don't know how to embed it here.  Hope its OK to use this link.   :banghead:     Or maybe someone could clean it up for me.

Rob fixed it below so I deleted my link.

Sounds like a great season toddster, any pics?

Like Darren I too am hoping that the hog hunt changes my luck - 1 shot on a doe and half dozen or so at small game sums up my 2012 season.... But the Hill bows and living vicariously through other hunters on this thread made it fun nonetheless! :-)

thanks all, posted the first doe, have to look for the others, none with the turkey, no one around to take that one.  Hope everyone stays warm and keeps string waxed.  I will not be able to make it to the Hill Hog Hunt, (work) but glad to have a job, you all that go have fun and tell a lie for me, wink.
