Alright Hill lovers out there. I am seriously considering a HH bow. It  almost seems like a given, since my last name is Hill. I have had a Bama Hunter that was about the closest thing to a Hill that I have owned. Most of my LB's have been RD bows and I have really enjoyed them.

I am leaning toward one with bamboo limbs. I pulled a Abbott yesterday it was bamboo and smooth as butter. Most of the other woods I have tried and owned seem to stack more. I have not tried yew or osage. Any help would be appreciated.

My two favorite limbs materials limbs a Hill style bow are bamboo and yew. IMHO Yew is super smooth. Whose going to build your new bow?

Nice one Frank!

I would like to find one like that in a LH model to give it a try.

Enjoy!

The quiver is a Howard Hill Archery.  So is my glove, armquard, and half of the arrows in the quiver.  Tell ya what Those Ekins make some top notch cedar arrows for cheap.  All of the ones he sales are matched to one spine deflection not 5.  I make my own alot but only custom ones will come from them.

Thank you chris. I am looking at ordering that exact quiver. It looks very nice and a wonderful price.  I just love that pic, it puts  a smile on my face
