Dano, I usually have a background of furnace and plumbing pipes   :(   ...after seeing JD's I figured I better rig up a good'un for this bow   :D    :D

It was 58#@27.5", I sanded the limbs to 220 and expect she'll be at or about 56# or so at 28". Next I'll shape the grip, sand the tips some and ship it out.

Looks great Geo! Don't worry about sanding the back of the tips.I'll have to flatten them level for the overs.

Thanks guys. Tim I'll just leave the tips unsanded  so theres more material to blend into the overlays. The tips are pretty small as they are.

She's shooting, 57#@28", proly be closer to 55# after final sanding and some shooting by the winner.

Dave, I rough shaped the handle but there is still some work I left for you. It should arrive your house mid next week....have fun.

Dano...... I'd razz him about the white stuff too but believe it or not we have some about 10 miles from the house today......Desert snow is a pretty rare site down here..... This is our first moisture in 143 days and it's coming down in buckets and it's cold.......  Awesome bow George but I think the owl is behind ya.....  Are those legal up there.....   :bigsmyl:  Terry
