I killed two bucks this past Monday evening - the first time I've done a double on bucks with the bow. The seven pointer I recovered the next morning. I should have found him Monday because he only went about 50 yards - having two blood trails overlapping can make things confusing sometimes....These deer were taken during our gun season in a heavily gun hunted area which makes it even sweeter    :)    ...52lb. BW recurve, 160 grain Snuffers...Complete penetration on both.
Here's the first one - please don't laugh at the old blue shirt I'm wearing      :bigsmyl:     .

Here's the exit wound for those interested:

Here's the second buck where he went down:

Good God Steve! That hurts me, just looking at that deer. Is that  tumor, or is he just the baddest deer in the woods?
Got wood? - Tom

This is my first attempt at adding a photo.  Shot this buck in Kansas with a 45# Damon Howatt Hi-Speed.  I hurt my shoulder this fall and couldn't shoot any of my heavier bows so I borrowed this 45# bow from my son.  I found that 2018 shafts flew pretty well from it.  Used a STOS broadhead and got a pass-through.   Jim

Scott: Thanks, I have relatives that live in SE Kansas south of Topeka.  I guess this deer was a fighter.  He had a couple of points broken off.  Jim

Beautiful buck, Jim.
Congratulations!
