My good friend Chris Spikes lost his Father in law yesterday to a bad stroke. He was also his next door Neighbor so it was a close Family. Prayers please for Chris and His Family through this tough time.RC

But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Will keep Chris and his family in my prayers.

Prayers sent for healing and comfort.

That is tough to have a loved one go so dramatically.

Having sat beside for 2+ years with my own father after a stroke and watch his life dwindle to nothing but existing... I'm not sure which is worse.

Regardless, loss is loss and I will pray hard for your friend and his family to feel God's peace that passes understanding... and that they will find strength and comfort from our prayers!

Lord, in your Mercy...
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!
