I walked into work today and was asked to see the business owner. When I went to her office I was told I was being fired due to some things found on a work computer that she blamed me for placing there. Her daughter spoke up and saved me from being terminated today but I lost my current position and have a two day suspension and am being transfered to a different area until she decides whether to make the termination permanent on Wed. But this afternoon I arranged an interview with another place for tomorrow. Please pray that Gods will is done whatever that may be for me and my family. Thank you.

You will be included in my prayers.  Prayer is moving mountains for me right now.  I have faith it will move yours too.
What would you attempt to do, if you knew you could not fail?

Never leave the one you love, for the one you like.

Praying for your name to be cleared and justice done.

but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.

George,

You've been in worse spots and God brought you through! Thank you for continuing to model faith beyond knowing for us all!

Prayers for His will.  I know you liked this job, but when false accusations are made, it may be time to find a new venue.

Prayers too for strength, peace, discernment and the ability to witness His love to those who would do you harm.

Keep the Son in your eyes!

You are right about that Doc! And I have wonderful news! I prayed all night (literally) and I just came in from my interview and I start Monday. God is good all the time and all the time God is good.

Doc Nock

Only thought is "don't burn bridges". We never know when we may have to recross our paths of the past.

Congrats on a successful interview and job offer.

May it be as He intends and provide your purpose and direction.

This is a place under new management that I worked at previously. So not burning bridges is right.

New company called and withdrew their offer today. Keep praying please.

Doc Nock

Sounds like a submarine torpedo'd you when they started making calls...

Keep the faith. Many of us have been where you are and likely, less things change big time, will be again!

Prayers continue!

Income is always good even under the direst circumstances... I drive 2 hrs a day R.T. and make less than I did in Social Service 18 yrs ago!

But ya'know, it's way better than eeking out an existence on unemployment or worse!

Thank you Lord! George, good to see you're still in the harness at the old gig, even if in the rear traces!

Praise BE! Excellent news, George!!

Keep the shiney side up and "emphasize the positive, eliminate the negative" throughout the interview.

Answer only what asked and offer no more, we always coached when I did that for interviewees.

Best of wishes for His Will!

If you get the reporter job, will you have to wear a super-hero suit under your clothes and look for phone booths?  :)

Keep smilin, Brother!

You know Doc this week has been rough but I still have my job even if my new position isn't as satisfying. Wed will be my second interview since this happened and I currently am surrounded by four of my five grandchildren. Think it's going to be alright.
