A bad situation....

A fellow Officer at my department was just diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer.  Doc's estimates are ~3 months left.  Please keep him and his family (wife and a couple of teen kiddos) in your prayers.  He's a fighter, but everyone says this is one of the worst cancers to encounter.

Prayers that he doesn't accept the accepted beliefs about the cancer but fights with all his heart. Praying that he and his family grab the Word of God as their source.
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Update...

My friend had surgery yesterday and the surgeons found the cancer so widespread they simply closed him up and sent him home to his family. At least he will have some time with them.  

Please pray that his remaining time with family/friends is the highest quality possible.

God's Grace be upon this man that in his remaining time he may express his heart to his friends and loved ones.

Prayers for Peace that passes all understanding to be with him.

Prayers for God's will and should that be healing, we ask for His holy spirit to be on this man to confound the docs.  

Lord in your mercy....
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!
