Please keep Gene and his family in your prayers. He is in Oklahoma City this week for chemo treatments but is not doing very well.  He has two daughters scheduled to be married very soon. One is May 22 and the other is June 12 and I will be performing the marriage ceremony for both. I just ask that you pray for strength for Gene to be able to attend these joyous occassions.

Vile cancer!  :(   The cost is too high for too many good people.

Prayers for God's will to be done. By our prayers may it be His will that Gene might make it through to both daughter's weddings and beyond. Lord in your mercy...

Praying for Gene to see his daughters wed. This hits close to home. I pray that the Lord holds this kind and generous man close to His heart, and gives him comfort. May his family take joy in the nature of Gene's spirit, and God give them strength for the battle ahead.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

Gene,
I put in a good word about you every day to the One Above. I miss seeing your posts, you always make me smile.

I know there are a lot of newcomers who got mentored by you, and there are a lot more coming in every day. Sure could use your help.   :help:
