Me and my wifes close friends just welcomed their first baby into the world thanksgiving day. We just found out today that he has bacterial meningitis. Please pray for his health and well being. I know this at really about trad but we need all the prayers and support that we can get.

I think nothing is more traditional here on Tradgang PRAYER PAGE (not other forums) than asking for prayers for friends in need!

Menningitis is nothing to mess with, but the child is in His hands. PRayers for speedy healing and total recuperation with no side effects.

Lord, in your mercy...
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

Praying for God's best and comfort for the family.
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

I got to talk ot the baby's mother last night and the dr.'s said that they caught the meningitis before the bacteria staarted growing. The baby is doing good and no bad luck he will get to come home in the morning. Thanks for all of your prayers and please keep them coming, he's not out of the woods yet.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

I lost my ten day old nephew this summer due to an infection...I know what you're all going through.

Prayers sent for a quick recovery, strength and peace and understanding while each day brings news and progress.

Oh and if it helps show them this post so they know all of the people that are praying.  I posted on here and sent it to my sister so she could see people across the country were praying.
