Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

I too deal with this quite often. Prayers going up!

Got it man. Seems that malise is laid on many of us who have a caring spirit.

Makes one wonder if we're "normal" if we DON'T battle a bit of depression, especially in these times.  :)

Hang in there. Don't eat the apple from THAT tree... Satan's trying to taunt you into believing you're less than you are... but God don't make junk!

Kasey i also struggle with depression and i am in the process of getting divorced. I feel your pain my friend and i know first hand how tricky depression can be. If you ever want to talk to someone who knows what you are going through give me a call.

Keep your head up and pray. Remember if you need to see a Doctor and take meds please do so it's not a sign of weakness its Gods way of helping. I do so every day. Take care.

I struggle with it also, been diagnosed with bi-polar, turned out I didn't have it,but I do have depression and social anxiety, I have had about every med tossed at me and have come to the conclusion that God and prayer does more for ME, not saying that there is anything wrong wiht proper meds, they are definitely a God send, trust me,and I am not saying you are weak, in fact I am proud of you and your being able to reach out, that takes a lot, and thank you for allowing us to have the blessing to pray for you!!! I wouldn't be where I am today without the med help, just know that you are not alone.......I know you probably feel that way....but you are not, read heb 13:5..........go RIGHT NOW and read, and while you have it open, allow the Holy Spirit to speak to your brokenness, He is the great physician, He craeted and LOVES you, and has a purpose for you...reach out and cling to the everlasting arms, do it right now, lord bless and keep you!!!
JESUS LOVES ME THIS I KNOW!!!!

To God be the glory, great things He has done!!!!!

Continued prayers for ya, brother.  Many suffer silently with depression and related malise. It's real and it's often chemically created by things missing in your body's chemistry.

As Brad says above, sometimes, the meds are the right answer. Don't leave any stone unturned, but always come back to the Blood of Jesus for strength to cope regardless of the healing and medical treatments.
