Buffalo Two Fletch

Hello,
I have been out of work since March. Contacted close to 200 Companies with no luck. Finally on Friday Afternoon, I got a call from a place that wanted to talk with me. I am off to that interview/meeting in a few minutes and while my situation is NO WHERE AS URGENT and IMPORTANT as other posts here, I sure could use a little prayer to help me get a job.

Praying. BTW you are not less important than anyone else.

Today's Job Interview turned out to be a scam. I will get up tommorow and keep trying but month after month of no prospects sure does wear you down. At age 52 it's the first time ever in my life that I did not have a job. Thank You for the prayers and support.

Went 13 months w/out work and have paid on advance degrees for 12 years and still not paid off and it never earned me a penny yet!

Lots of folks in your boat. Some of us in boats where we set sail on such jobs only to learn they've got a few ugly warts on em!

Keep the faith and keep on fighting.  Seems like we could use a "change" from all this 'change.'

Regular U.I. benefits ended for me. Still nothing. My age, industry and the economy are all working against me. I have done everything I can think of and still nothing. I am having a hard time trying to stay positive about losing my job and not being able to find a new job. Anyone out there from the Buffalo NY area that nows of a job opening?

I had a buddy up that way in the IT biz and he had to move South/west in NY to find work.

Thanks to our voting choices: We got change! All we got left is some change in the bottom of our pockets.  :(

Like I said, was 13 MONTHs till something came along...and y'know, I'm grateful. But...  :)  They treat folks like cannon fodder cause they're hiring and nobody else is...so they pay pretty minimally and work folks like dogs.  There is often a catch to the silver lining.  :)

I am waiting on His will for this. Lots of hiccups on the horrizon, but I am like the masses, I'll take what there is and try not to gripe, cause 13 months makes a man feel like dirt.

Keep the Son in your eyes. We're not what we do for a living. We're what God put us here to do with our lives. Sometimes, those are very different things!
