Thanks for the update, Todd.

This has to be hard on everyone, but it truly is a time to lay it at the foot of the cross.

We've seen some amazing things God's done through prayer here alone...

We'll continue to lift up Karen, her medical team and ask for peace and trust for all of you standing watch and waiting.

They took Karen out of the coma yesterday but she is still unresponsive to people interactions, but she is responsive to a few reflex tests and is responsive to pain. She is still heavily medicated of course.

Still too early to determine her mental state, but the Doctors say they've seen people in a lot worse condition make a full recovery. On the flip side to that coin, and doctors being doctors and not wanting to blow a lot of smoke, they say they've seen people that were in better condition that haven't recovered and probably never will. I know Karen well enough being a burden to other people and not being self sufficient would be the worst thing she could go through. I pray that God, whatever his will may be, that he does what's best for Karen. My Dad always say's, "He doesn't give you anything you can't handle."

Just to clarify a little about Karen and I. We were in a serious relationship for 9 months but it seemed our lifes trails were heading in seperate dirictions. The decision was made that while we probably weren't compatible as far as a merriage is concerned, we were still the best of friends. She is an awesome person and I still love her oootles and gobbles, and I will be there for her during this bump in the road as I know she would appreciate it, and I know she would be there for me. No questions asked. It's times like these you find out who your friend are. I can't tell you all how much your prayers and concerns mean to me and Karens family, and Karen herself. You are all true friends!

Once again, thank you all so much.

God bless.

Prayers continue Todd. You might think about reading these and any other prayers from people to her. She may not be physically awake but her spirit will hear and I'm sure it will comfort her.

Wow, Todd.... (there just aren't any "emoticons" to show what your words did to me reading them)

...just .."Wow!"

Awesome testimony of true Christian love right there...

Prayers continue for God's will to be acted out in His time, and that the Holy Spirit fill you, Karen's family and other friends and the medical teams that all might know true peace in His presence during this terrible time of waiting.

Tod my man.  My wife, my son, my little girl and myself will always keep you and Karen in our prayers. God is here and God is watching.  We here on Tradgang just have to give "Him"a nudge to give Karen a little bit more to heal.
A bad day of hunting is still far better than a good day at work.

Well the stubborn girl finally decided to come around. THANK YOU LORD!!!!!!!!

It took a few days past a month, but she knows her name, age, parents and friends. I even got to talk to her on the phone.

The phrase "what a miracle" has a whole new meaning to me and will not be used lightly from here on out.

Thank you all so much.

She still has a long road to hoe, but she is sure tough enough. She needs major reconstructive surgery to her scull, hip and leg. Most of her ribs are broken along with most all of her other bones.

Please keep her in your prayers, and I can't thank you enough.

Prayers that God's loving presence is revealed through this and that His healing love is glorified.

You are a good friend, Todd!

And our God is a great God! Thank you, Lord for Karen's healing, we ask your continued Mercy that she might amaze all her doctors and become a beacon of light for your Love and Mercy as she tells all how her Lord healed her from her terrible wounds. Amen.

Doc,

You always seem to talk in the same voice as the spirit in my heart....

Todd - we continue to lift Karen and her family and friends up and believe fully that the Lord will restore her in miraculous ways.

Your freindship is a powerful testimony.  May the Father continue to pour out his blessings on your life and the lives of Karen and her family
