I am going to order a new string for a 57 Kodiak that I just picked up. My question is would you order a Flemish or endless loop string? Also the bow is 60" the string on it measures 55 1/2. There was a new ( old) string with it that also measures 55 1/2 but the box the string came in says 57".
Of course that may not be the string that came in the box originally. From what I have read the string should be 56 .
I am leaning toward an endless loop string but a Flemish is supposed to be gentler on the bow.
Any help or advice is appreciated.

I grew up shooting endless loops long before Flemish strings became popular. I like them but they are noisier on most of my bows than Flemish strings.

Make sure you get a dacron string.  Not to start an argument, but why risk it?

I like flemish on my bows because you can twist them up or down to adjust the brace height to your liking.

Flemish has more adjustment. And, my experience has been, they seem quieter.

I own two '57s and use homemade flemish strings.
