I know that you collector are going to find this one, so I figure I would ask what it is, and if it is worthy of a collection piece. Was found in the state I love to hunt. Ohio. Here is is item number 290923709388

raghorn

That is a modified Fleetwood Deerslayer. Pretty common head. MAde in Denver.

Thats the one Dave. Has a microflite #3 arrow. Would love to know the history on those arrows. Can't seem to find much on the web.

Here's an interesting thread on Micro Flight arrows. Hope this helps.

Getting back to the picture.   Fred wearing  converse high top tennis shoes?

Shane Reed

Yup. Have a picture or two  with that. Sure they were not pf flyers? Lol

TonyW

Fred didn't wear Chuck Taylors, he wore the ancestors of PF Flyers, these were for hunters in 1931 -

In 2013, the closest you will come to these are:

PF Flyers Sneakers Center Hi Sandlot ML1001SL Black Leather

Much better than Chucks for that old timey stalking.

Bjorn

Those old ads are a riot!   :scared:

Thanks Tony!

Shane Reed

Hey, I guess I wasn't far off. PF Flyers were bought out by New Balance which is the company that my wife just started with. It was in the history of the company test she had to take. Learn something new every day. ;o)Love the old ads
