At a shoot last weekend I bought an old recurve it has only one marking, it says Wildcat on the bottom limb with the picture of a cats head. The bow has green glass on the belly and black on the face with a tigerwood handle .I've seen lot of old bows but not this brand could anyone give me a clue?...Tim

I have one just like it in 43#, 58"

It is a Locksley Wildcat.  Pretty much the same bow as a Ben Pearson Hunter.  Locksley was one of Ben Pearsons alternate brands.  They were usually the same bow as a Ben Pearson model but under the Locksley name for marketing purposes.

A good bow...you will enjoy it.

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.

There was a company called Jaguar that sold bows in the early 60's. They had  the following models-Jaguar, Wildcat, Tomcat and Lynx. The Wildcat was a 60" bow. I believe this is what you have.

This was pretty well covered on the other site.
