Question for Johnny Razorhead

Hello John, just got back from a weekend of garage sailing in Grayling. I have in my possession an unusual unfinished T/D handle. Can you identify what it might be? Early EXP maybe?

almost looks like pine which I don't think they would use for a riser . Just a guess tho. great find.

Can't imagine what is being hoarded in the basements of the houses in Grayling!!

Alright, Johnny is not checking the forums I guess.

This is a fake, I made it.

I was trying to get Johnny back for an April fools joke, but I am leading too many people along. I only meant to lead Johnny along and he hasn't bitten.

I apologize for any collateral damage done to collectors and history buffs, this is not real, but maybe there are some good finds out there.

Sorry again for any excitement, I thought Johnny would see it immediately, perhaps poor judgement to include other folks.

I would trade small amounts of gold for sockets, but I would put them in a lot nicer chunk of wood!

I did see your post and my heart raced just imagining who the mystery person in Grayling was that was hiding this treasure.I have been working some ungodly long hours the last few weeks and hardly have time for anything.I did make an attempt to e-mail you about the bow shortly after this thread was posted but I had a problem with my computer and had to abort sending the message.I never got a chance to try again.Good thing I guess,you probably really would have strung me along if I had bit early on.
I believe I offered you one of my take-down Grumleys and one of my brass bear risers for your "duplicator" riser in my original e-mail.Good thing it didn't go through.Nice job on the reproduction,it certainly has the right shape of the early risers.I owe you one now!!!!

Glad to hear I was successful after all. I made a pattern from one of your handles, this was a practice chunk. The next one will be made to accept sockets...hopefully.
