The two lefties are actually 1965's.  You're not the first to have picked out the one I the right as a very interesting piece of wood.  It's 43# and shoots wonderfully.  I picked up both lefties from the same guy.

Another of my favorites is 1962, but I only have that in RH right now.

Nice bows on here for sure.  One day I'd like to shoot an old static tip Grizz or pick up a 1958.

Hopefully Jack will post soon and show off some of his.

And thanks to  a Fellow Trad Gang member named Jack Shanks, he found this one, did some handy work and I was able to not only shoot some carp with but replaced my fathers broken 69 Grizz.

FWI, my wife shot more carp with it than I did   :readit:    :help:

Thank You Jack!

Here is arguably the most collectible bow I own.  The pictures don't do it justice.  I believe it to be all original outside of the feather rest.  I replaced that.  Now that I am shooting LH this just languishes in the basement for now.  It's a 1959.  Yes, the tips are original.  It's been in a case since 1959 and well cared for it seems

Wow!!!

Usually when I find an old Bear in that kind of condition, someone has "experimented" with it and it has the holes to prove it!

That one is sweet!

No holes that is for sure.  It shoots wonderfully.  Only question mark is weather a coat of true oil was put on it at one time or not.

I put a '58 griz on the auction block 4 St. Judes last year, I'm sure it went to a great home.  Nice looking bows Charlie!

Nice looking bows Charlie and everyone. Here's the only Grizzly that I own, a '62 I recently purchased.

The Grizzlies are some of the best shooting bows Bear made. The 59-62 are my favorites and lets just say I have many of each and still looking for more.

Great thread! Some nice looking Grizzlies here! I don't have any current pictures of the ones I have together so I will need to try and take some in the next couple days.

Here's my '67 in '69 with my first deer. I've posted this before.

Here it is again practicing in the back yard. I've never shot 3 under but am doing it here.

Charlie,

If I don't get the pictures up soon watch your local schedule for the TV program "Hoarders". They contacted me about filming a segment for their show.

I have owned Kodiak Specials, Kodiaks, Polars and even a Panda but somehow never ended up with a Grizzly.

Looks like they can be pretty darn good looking and the shooting quality is gonna be a given in that era.

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42
