Help Id this Archery Traditions recurve

I just picked this up on craigslist for $140... owner didn't know much about it but it's a really nice bow and seemed like a good deal.   From Looking around online I found out these were made for Dan Quillian by either Larry Howatt or Jeffrey archery?  Anyone know who made this one?   There isn't a model name anywhere on this bow.  It says it's 49 lbs but when I put it on my bow scale it is actually 53lbs at 28.  I read somewhere online that DQ measured his bows at 26 inches which would explain it.

It's a Canebrake, unfortunately I don't remember who made this model. Dan also used Martin, and the red elm Longhunter was made by them. Pretty sure it's not by Jeffrey, from the tips.

Dan didn't rate his bows at 26", if it's off it was the bowyer's error, or it's braced too high. The ones I had liked around 6 1/4" from the belly side of the shelf. Exception: Dan had Jeffrey make a 60" Bamboo Longhunter for short draw people, and it was rated at 26". I have the prototype, marked 48#@26".

Dan was very proud of the Canebrake, and enjoyed showing compound shooters that it was just as fast as their bows when shot with the AMO standard arrow, 540 grains pulled 30" in a 60# bow. It would consistently exceed 200 fps.

Thank you Don! I did a little searching around online for canebrake archery tradition bows and found out some more info.

Took it out to the range today with my kids and shot a round... it is a sweet shooting bow!  It is very smooth and fast.  It was braced around 6 1/4 and I checked the pull many more times... comes in right at 53lbs?!?!  Oh well.. I'll just shoot it!
