I've told my wife that I'm pretty well set on bows.  I've got enough in inventory to take to Denton Hill, and only a few on my wish list to keep for myself.  Well, wouldn't you know it, at the PBS Odd Year gathering last weekend I was besieged with bows for sale and my will power was completely destroyed!

69 Kodiak Mag  45#

The only one of the bunch that needs any work at all is the 67 1/2 Super K.  The owner had already started sanding on it, so I will have to finish that one up.  It is also going to be a beauty!

Did you buy these for resale, or to keep?

The 67 SK and the Howard are to keep for sure.  Not sure yet on the others but they might be hanging around too.  Haven't even had a chance to take them out to play.  I love that little 69 K Mag.

I'm going down to see the lawyer tomorrow Chuck.  The Jack Howard will be in my will to you.
Both the Super K's came as a package deal that I just couldn't say no to.

Thanks Joe, That helps if only a wee bit.
In all seriousness(from me? yeh right) I had the bow if I wanted it and I thank you Joe for offering to help me out with that deal. You are a pretty nice guy for sure. I am really glad that you have it. What always tripps me out is the fact that a bow junkie can show up to mind his own business at a small shoot in WI and end up with a handful of bows like you did. Saturday morning was almost into a frenzy for an hour or so, I had to run back to Joes booth and say "Hey Joe,come here and look at this bow or THESE bows"
Pretty crazy eh Joe?
WOW! It was pretty fun now that I look back on it. Enjoy them Joe,I know you will.
Chuck
PS. I remember that super K now.You got it before the 67.5(kinda).I was jacked up about the JH at that time.   :p

Joe,

Good weekend for sure! Now you just need to fill in that Magnum collection you have started with all the missing years.

Nice score Joe. Had some thoughts about coming down. How was the crowd?

Whip

zep, the turnout for that shoot was good, but certainly should have been much better.  Those Ojibwa boys sure know how to put on a shoot!  Great courses, plenty of vendors, and 4 whole hogs roasting on a spit.  It was a great weekend!

Tony, one of each.  They are both very nice, but the 69 is especially sweet!  From what I see in the old catalog it is listed as Tigerwood?  Beautiful reddish color and outstanding grain.  The black and white overlays really set it off.

I just noticed that I had a typo on my original post.  The second bow from the left is actually a 69 K Mag.

My advice to you is:  "DO NOT SHOOT that Gamemaster Jet"

If you do, you will never shoot anything else.

Jim hit the nail on the head when he said "MEGA SCORE".

In my opiniom (and many others) that is the finest, smoothest, fastest, most accurate bow you will ever shoot.  And possibly the most beautiful.

Every artist has a masterpiece.  The Gamemaster Jet is Jack Howards Masterpiece.

I also recommend that you only use strings made of Jack's string material.  It is a stretch string and the bow was designed to be shot with these.  Although Jack is no longer with us, Charlie Lamb has a supply of the string material and was authorized by Jack to make the Howard strings before Jack passed away.  Charlie is a moderator here and you can contact him throught the forum.
