Let me get a little wisdom from the people "in the know". I've got a kodiak special, 68" 38#, copper coin, looks to be a 1960. Thinking of selling it cause it's a little lighter wieght than I would like, but thinking of keeping it cause it just so darn good look'n. What do you guys think? Is it more valuable as a collector or a shooter?

hummmmmmmm you got me on that one Chris I'd say shoot it no wait sell it no wait dang I do not know man.I do know I love the way those early specials shoot no matter what draw weight and 38#'s with the correct arrow is a pretty darn good shooter bd

chris amos

Yeah, it really shoots great but I don't feel good about the weight for hunting. Most likely gonna need to find a new home. You see alot of bows, what seems like a fair value?
