I just bought this bow and was wondering if it has any collector value or is it a very commom bow? It looks almost new, it came in the paper sleeve with Ben Pearson tag on it and marked catalog # 503-1, Draw WT.50 lb,Weighed at 28 inches. From what I could find for information it's a 1956 Hickery Hunting Bow with recurve limbs and came in 40#, 45#, and 50# and sold for $11.50. I just need some feed back on this bow I've never had one like this.

I'm the same vintage, and don't look nearly as good!

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Nice looking bow.  My first bow was a Ben Pearson lemonwood longbow in 1956.  I was just a kid.

What would you think it's worth? I got it for $20.00.
