Just came back from my first official big game hunt. Did not harvest any white tail yet but the walk in the woods with my 1972 Super Kodiak, 60", 55#, equipped with a period correct 4 arrow quiver (plastic top and single spring arm) holding less than period correct CX heritage 150s with weight tubes, topped with 1964ish Bear Razorheads. I did stump shoot a few times and am proud to say that every arrow shot was dead on center. I felt good and confident. Saw many signs of activity but no deer. I stalked the white tails on a 150 acres of private land in the middle of a huge forest near Sutton Quebec where there is a abundance of deer. Off season, a walk in the woods, like I did this week, I would at least see one deer, but not this time. My girlfriend followed me from a distance for a bit with her camera. She took a photo with the time delay during a break showing the bow and quiver.

Here is a more artistic photo of me near an opening in the woods where the deer come to rest.

Yes... well, thanks, I guess... and she is silent as a mouse in the woods. She has no taste in men though... That's a good thing.

Just today I was shooting my SKodiak 1970,it is only 45#,it is all I could find for now,but I like it; it is a hard shooter despite the low poundage with some Eritage 150 and 200 grs BH.I would trade it for a similar '70 lh in higher #'s
