I am looking at a kodiak special,  it is either a 57 or 58, I have not narrowed the year down yet.  since niether one of us know what they are selling for, I was wonder what would be a fair amount to offer him for it?  it is 66" and 45 lbs.  It is in good condition, It has 2 small holes in the riser that have been filled

any hlp would be great
thanks

I'm not an expert, barely a novice but I paid 225 for my 55 ks in similar codition.  I'm sure others with more knowledge will join us.  Good luck, bhill.

I recently paid $90 for a nice '56 KS with no holes and no stress lines, but I think I got a good deal too.

When I buy a bow I am the BUYER and the person with the bow is the SELLER. I can't buy and sell the bow. If I ran across this at a yard sale for $10 I would glady pay that. My job isn't to tell the guy what it is "worth" my job is to either agree/disagree on the $. If he is asking X and I think that is fair then I pay it. If I don't think its what I want to pay I let them know that and either move on or we come to a middle ground. When someone selling a bow locally quotes some price they saw on **** I turn and walk away. The bottom line is that anything is only worth what 1 person will pay for it.
