Well I'm still waiting for my 1st run.

My engraver got me 5 coins to check out, and is having to upgrade some equipment for production.
Please be patient, they are coming, just slower than I would like.   :knothead:

I am using a small outfit,I would rather wait and use an American company, than get them made by a foreign outfit and have them faster/cheaper.
Sorry for the delay's

Orders are going to be filled in the sequence they came to me.
       Kurt
Daryl your original coin is heading home tommorow.

Bjorn

Thanks for the update.....didn't Daryl tell you? He wants his coin sent to me.

TRAP

:scared:   uh uh uh I think Bjorn is a bit confused.

Oh no after I see old highbinder tring to sell a copper coin on gbay this AM for 150.00 you gotta be kidding me.
Kurt Trapaziod said to send that original coin to bowdocs place.
I passed up an original for Steve's bow a couple weeks ago for 65.00 because I thought the price was a bit high as did Steve.I wonder if a guy should rethink that for 65.00 crap I could toss it on the meat market and double my money ???? yeah I can see that happening.
Old highbinder gots a compass up to I would just dearly love to have too.But again its a higher BIN then even Johnnyrazorhead would pay for one.bd

Your coin seems to have more new homes available everyday.I think Traps coin has been away from  home long enough.(going on 1/2 year)might as well be waiting for a custom bow!

BD
Maybe they are trying to get their money out before the price of originals drop   :bigsmyl:

d. ward

man I about chit myself when I saw that BIN price. However if you had a mint condition 1959 or 1960 Kodiak with no coin 150 may seem cheap to some.I actually have a spare copper coin for a 1959 Kodiak and brass same style from a 1959 Polar. Those are a couple of my prize Bear Archery possesions.bowdoc

Or waiting on a....well...nevermind  ;)

Bowdoc- I did see that compass and my "buy it now" finger did start twitching but I came to my senses. It would make it easier to do a Fred Bear compass shooting glove as I have started making one myself. But that is alot of $$$.
Can you tell I've got a thing for compass's?

d. ward

Oh yeah John I figured you would be posting pics of that compass in 3 days.
Grant has a super nice reproduction of Fred's glove he had made with a brass Bear compass installed.
I was thinking compass on one side of the glove and coin on the other...bowdoc

johnnyrazorhead

I would like to see a pic of Grant's glove. And I still have three days left huh?Hmmmm.....

TRAP

Maybe you should buy that feather rest he's selling for 50 also.  He'd probably combine shipping.   ;)

Ron Roehrick

I see there is a 1959  Bear original Copper Coin on **** its $150.00, WOW...

Grant Young

Hey Johnny, I can post a couple pics around lunch today. I looked at the compass with the flange myself and almost bit but held off. Mr. Bear had some compasses that had a base and backing on them and carried a few in his TD case. You can see them very briefly in "The Good Earth" film as he is explaining that prepping for the hunt is very much an enjoyable part of the process. The compass has a bluish base of some kind. I epoxy mine to a heavy Fender guitar pick and grind the plastic down to leave a flanged base and then stitch a high quality dress shoe lining under the glove and over the base. At 1 1/6" the compass Joe is selling is a bit large for my personal tastes but it would make a nice looking piece. I just built a new one a couple weeks ago and will get you some pics asap.                       Grant

Here is a bad pic taken quickly John.

This is the underside of the glove.

The first picture has some ghost images caused by motion when I tried to photo my own hand in a hurry. It looks better than that. Hope this helps a little,         Grant
