Newbie introduction

Hello All
I am new to traditional hunting this year, learning instinctive shooting again as I did as a youngster. Not as proficient as I'd like yet but I love practicing!
Glad I found this site, I appreciate the respect theme here, and from reviewing the posts it's apparent everyone here takes it seriously.
Reason I'm posting here is I've got the collecting bug!
 
Love the wood and craftmanship in these older bows, especially the Bears, which I remember from my youth. I have picked up a few at auction, and they each seem to have a different personality.
I am reading all I can find on history and shooting these, and will catch up on older posts here so I dont ask too many dumb questions, you guys know your stuff!

Welcome!  This is a great place, respectful and helpful.  And heed the warnings-I started off a little over a year ago with 1 Bear bow, just because my wife grew up about 15 miles from the factory in Grayling.  Now they have somehow multiplied to 8!  Be Careful!!!:-)

Yes I can see where this can be addicting, I've been into vintage motorcycles and military rifles for quite awhile. Shooting my trad bows in the back yard after work is great stress relief, Ive had my compound for years, but now found a whole new challenge and enjoyment.
I'm really liking BD's restoration thread. I  thought cracks were death to a bow, but now I've seen his and Rich's work, amazing.
