A couple weeks ago this thing was up for auc.I figured what the hell.Poked in $75.00 yeah I know what kind of a nut case would pay 75.00 plus shipping for a broken plaster plaque. To answer that,I did.I sold the one I had years ago and never did get another.I'am takeing it to this lady we know who does ceramics. She actually repairs super old expensive ceramics and things like that(like restoreing old bows).I did email her a couple pics and she said she was certin she could fix this one up good as new and replace the E no problemo. The repairs and repainting with original type colors runs about 150.00.Good Xmas gift to myself I thought.(mrs bd don't know about the repair cost as yet,mr bd may have forgotten to mention that part)...Ya gotta love em huh...bowdoc

C'mon BD, You're just an old softie. I used to see those things everywhere when I was a kid- mostly hardware stores. Good find, good buy, and a pretty good deal for a time-machine trip back to better days.                    Grant

BD,

With all the things that Mrs. BD doesn't know, some unscrupulous SOB might might try to take advantage of you monetarily speaking just to keep that information to themselves......especially in todays economy.    :readit:
