WallyMart has a propane-powered smoker for about $100. Looks good. Anyone here tried one? Thanks.

Never used propane, only lump charcoal/wood type smokers.

I have a prpoane powered brinkman and I am only a beginner but I've cooked up some tasty food with it. It seems to be much less fuss and easier to use.

I bought a similar smoker from Gander MT.  It is by a company called Great Outdoor.  It is SUPER!!  Heat control is excellent.  the construction is solid.  I've made everything pheasant, goose, venison, sausage, turkey, pork.  It is the best.  I done dry and wet smoking with excellent results!  For that money you cant go wrong.  I think 6 of my buddies now own them after eating at my house.
