Crazy marinade

Saw this in Duluth Trading Magazine... dry rub some taco seasoning that comes in an envelope over the meat then soak it in Coke or Pepsi (no diet)in the fridge over night. The citric acid breaks down the meat and the sugars work into the steak.

I think I will try your recipe.I have heard of using soft drinks as a marinade but haven't heard of using the taco mix.Sounds interesting.
