I place my thumb over top of my pinkie finger and drag my thumb knuckle across my face. It helps me stay in line and not do something crazy.

I learned from Coach Arne Moe to put my thumb in the palm of my hand (I used to stick it straight up...wrong!)

My thumb goes under my cheek bone and keeps my wrist straight and stabilizes my string hand at anchor.  I am way more accurate with my thumb tucked.

Tucked. Thumb up creates tension in my forearm and pushes my draw hand away from my face and prevents it from being relaxed.

More than 2 million youngsters between 10-18 are being taught this method every year now.
