i purchased a 55# @28 recurve and couldn't figure out the way my gamegetter 400's wasn't flying right. until i tested my drw length last night. i'm only pulling back to 26 inches,so my question is what do you guys think im pulling back in poundage?

Too stiff most likely.  But you need to give more information.  How long are your arrows ?  Is your bow cut to center?
What kind of weight do you have up front (fieldpoint & insert)?
Also, what do you mean when you say your arrows aren't flying right?

Here's some info for you.  The Bemans are closer in spine (probably) to what you need.  i shoot 47 to 49lbs and shoot primarily bemans 500 and GT 35/55 but with more weight up front.  Use the guide above to play around with your arrows and that should get you closer to where you want to be.  Good luck!
And what Michael said....how are they not flying right?

yes beman are cut to 27 inches also, when i shoot my bemans they look like a bullet straight they don't wabble or anything.my 400's wiggle curve just don't look right when in flight.

Spine could be the issue, but I also wonder if (I am assuming you nock under) since the Gamegetter is a thicker aluminum shaft then the Beaman ICS carbon, could you be getting a bounce off your shelf (do you shoot off your shelf?).  If it looks like you are presenting with a "nock high" sort of wobble you might try nocking over briefly and seeing how it flys.

Or I could be totally wrong.

okay, i never thought about the smaller shaft i will try nocking over i will try that.i do nock under.

Most people do, and you might still be a little nock high but you shouldn't have a lot of wobbling.
