Well i had some HUGE bad habits and i got my father in law to critique my form. Now i'm extremely consistent but not accurate.

When I draw my bow now and get to anchor i'm always low by about a foot and I don't release but try to correct my aim but its really uncomforatble. I've never used any aiming system or device. I'm stairing a hole in a small spot on the target but can just feel the bow being pointed too low.

Will your eye start to recalculate the position or is there another trick?

Three Arrows

Have you released an arrow with your new form yet?  Or are you just getting the feeling the arrow will hit a foot too low?

nightowl1

i have released with it

definitely low, but my groups went to about the size of an apple at 18 yards which for me is great. the shots feel easy but just low

Three Arrows

can you raise or lower your nocking point to affect your vertical impact?

Terry Green

You just need to re-program your brain that's all.

I was hitting about 3-4 inches low consistently. i lowered my nocking point by 1/8" and this fixed it.

If you can feel the bow is pointed too low, raise it.  As Terry says, just a matter of reprogramming.  Your brain is already telling you what to do, you just need to do it.  Good luck.
