Do you point your shoulders at the target or on a parallel plane?

If you think about it for a second...if your bow shoulder is pointed at the target...where would the string go?

Sorry...my point was...if your pointing the bow shoulder directly at target, how can you obtain string clearance, without short drawing the bow?

No, not directly at it...on a parallel plane.

What Rod said is what will happen if you point it directly AT the target.

Terry, even worse is you point the shoulder at target and try not to short draw the bow, you have to roll the bow shoulder into the string, to even line up with target....which often results in shoulder injuries..especially with hunting weight bows.
